~So far I have read finished two books since I started my summer break. I am currently reading “Wicked” suggested by my little sis Jennifer. It has caught my attention (finally)- but it is not my most favorite read…as of yet. I am only half way through it. Anyone out there have any reading suggestions? My favortie authors are James Patterson and Nicholas Sparks. I enjoyed the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyers. I prefer books that catch my attention quickly and make me “feel” something or see something from a new perspective.
~I am on the hunt for a new camcorder. I was considering getting a high def camera- but discoverd that I would have to get a new computer too in order to do all of my editing. Anyone out there own a High Def camcorder? I need some advice.
~Grayson has done very well without the paci. I mean- the paci is still in his crib- he just has no interest in it now that the tip has been removed. I am so thankful. I must say that I think he has done so well without because of preschool. He hasn’t had a paci there for almost a year. Thank you wonderful teachers!

  1. I recommend Dee Henderson if you like mysteries. But make sure you read her series books in order. You don’t have to - but they make more sense that way. I also really enjoyed the Clan of the Cave Bear Series that I read a few years ago. They are by Jean Auel. Good series if you haven’t already read them. And of course I love Beverly Lewis, too!

  2. Janet Evanovich - Stephanie Plum Series (read them in order…there’s 14 of them at this point and I get them as soon as they hit the shelf). Also, I’m done with Kite Runner and I’m saving it for you if you want it.

  3. No suggestions here…because you always pass me the books you’ve already read! I still have a stack waiting on me. BTW - I’m next on the waiting list for “Host” at the library. I’ll pass it to you when I’m done.

  4. I just read The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet. It’s 1000 pages long, and I loved it. Based on the book description I didn’t think I would, but it was really good.

  5. My Goodreads sidebar has all my recent reads. You can skim it and see it there is anything you like. Most of them I got from the library.

  6. I love Kathy Reichs and Patricia Cornwell. I am going to start getting back into James Patterson and I think I will try Nicholas sparks on your suggestion. Thanks.

Congrats on the paci. I know that is a relief.

  7. I love Nora Robert’s J.D. Robb series… another good one is called Redeeming Love (I think that’s what it’s called) by Francine Waters… another good author is Karen Kingsbury (a lot like Nicholas Sparks type of books). I love to read!! I just read “A Wrinkle In Time” since I remembered reading it as a kid. Funny, it seemed so long then and I finished it in no time. Good book though. Have a great summer!
