Since we celebrated Grayson’s second birthday with a party earlier this month, Tim & I decided to take Grayson to the NC State Zoo on his actual day of birth. It ended up being a perfect day for visiting the animals. The weather was overcast all day- meaning we didn’t get hot or burned and most of the animals were out and about! Grayson loved the sea lions the best- reaching out to try to grab them through the glass everytime they swam by the window. I enjoyed the gorillas and chimps & Tim was most impressed by the lion when he let out a roar. For those who haven’t visited the NC Zoo- I highly recommend it. It requires lots of walking- but it is well worth the measly $10 admission to visit.

I have been wanting to go there since my neighbor said good things about it. Glad to hear you had a fun day! I went to the zoo for my 29th birthday.
